Το πρωί ξυπνήσαμε με το φως του ήλιου, ενώ κοιμόμασταν στην άκρη του κρεβατιού. Η αρχή της μέρας μας βρίσκει πάντα στη μέση ενός βαθύ ύπνου, που συνήθως ξεκινά κοντά στο τέλος της νύχτας. Οι καλύτερες στιγμές των ονείρων μας, αρχίζουν πάντα λίγο πριν την αποκάλυψη των πιο σημαντικών τους λέξεων, και τελειώνουν με τον ηλεκτρονικό ήχο ενός τηλεφώνου, χωρίς ποτέ να μάθουμε τις σκέψεις των ηρώων τους. Ας κοιμηθούμε λίγο νωρίτερα απόψε – ίσως έτσι προλάβουμε ν’ ακούσουμε αυτό που έχουν να μας πουν.

At the start of day
In the morning, we woke up with the light of the sun, while we were sleeping at the edge of the bed. The start of the day always finds us in the middle of a deep sleep, which usually starts around the end of night. The best moments of our dreams, always begin right before the revelation of their most important utterances, and end with the electronic sound of a phone, without us ever finding out the thoughts of their protagonists. Let’s sleep a bit earlier tonight – perhaps this way we’ll get to listen to what they have to tell us.
