Όχι πια τόσο ξένη

Δεν είναι πάντα εύκολο να μαθαίνεις μία ξένη γλώσσα. Συχνά, διαφορετικοί άνθρωποι το βλέπουν διαφορετικά: Ας πούμε, σε κάποιους αρέσει να μιλάνε και να γράφουν, αλλά συνήθως δε σκέφτονται πολύ πριν μιλήσουν ή πριν γράψουν. Και σε κάποιους δεν αρέσει πολύ να μιλάνε, γιατί ντρέπονται, και θέλουν πάντα να είναι σίγουροι πριν μιλήσουν.
Και τα δύο, είναι πολύ καλά. Το πρώτο, γιατί δείχνει ότι ο άνθρωπος θέλει να χρησιμοποιεί τη γλώσσα, του αρέσει η έκφραση, και προσπαθεί να επικοινωνεί. Το δεύτερο, γιατί δείχνει ότι σε αυτόν τον άνθρωπο αρέσει η ακρίβεια, θέλει πάντα να μιλάει και να γράφει σωστά, και δεν του αρέσουν τα λάθη. Ωστόσο, και τα δύο έχουν κάτι που χρειάζεται διόρθωση, γιατί με το πρώτο μας καταλαβαίνουν δύσκολα, και με το δεύτερο μας ακούνε σπάνια.
Η ξένη γλώσσα δεν είναι πια τόσο ξένη, αλλα ακόμα δεν την πιάνω καλά. Ακόμα γλιστράει μέσα από τα χέρια μου, μα στο τέλος θα την πιάσω!

Not so foreign anymore
It’s not always easy to learn a foreign language. Often, different people see it differently: For example, some like to speak and write, but usually they don’t think much before they speak or before they write. And some don’t like to speak, because they’re shy, and they always want to be sure before they do.
Both are very good. The first one because it shows that the person wants to use the language, they like expression and try to communicate. The second one because it shows that this person likes precision, they always want to speak and write correctly, and don’t like mistakes. However, both have something that needs to be changed, because with the first one they understand us with difficulty, and with the second one they rarely get to hear us.
The foreign language is not that foreign anymore, but I still don’t get it well. It still slips through my fingers, but eventually I’m going to get it!
