Πάμε σινεμά;

Η Ματίνα μετά τη δουλειά σπάνια πάει σπίτι. Δουλεύει σε μία παμπ στο Λονδίνο και κουράζεται αρκετά. Συχνά, όταν τελειώνει από κει, δεν έχει κάτι να κάνει και βαριέται. Βλέπετε, είναι καινούργια στην πόλη. Δεν της αρέσει πολύ να μένει σπίτι, και προτιμάει να είναι έξω. Έτσι, καμιά φορά πάει σινεμά, μόνη της ή με παρέα.
Η Ματίνα είναι από τους ανθρώπους που δεν κάνουν πολλά σχέδια, ούτε καν για τις ταινίες που βλέπει. Οπότε, συνήθως δεν ξέρει τι παίζει ο κινηματογράφος πριν πάει, και επιλέγει την ταινία μόνο όταν φτάνει εκεί. Ούτε απόψε λοιπόν ξέρει τι ταινίες έχει στο σινεμά. Λέει ότι είναι καλύτερα έτσι, πως είναι πιο ενδιαφέρον.
Η Ματίνα μπαίνει στον κινηματογράφο στις 8, κοιτάει τριγύρω, και βλέπει πολύ κόσμο. Ένας πίνακας γράφει ποιες ταινίες παίζουν σήμερα. Στέκεται στην ουρά, και όταν έρχεται η σειρά της παίρνει ποπ-κορν και αναψυκτικό. Ενώ περιμένει, σκέφτεται ποια ταινία προτιμάει για απόψε. Κοιτάει πάλι τον πίνακα, που γράφει με μεγάλα γράμματα: «ΝΤΟΥΛΙΤΛ».

Shall we go to the cinema?
Matina rarely goes home after work. She works at a pub in London and gets tired quite a lot. Often, when she finishes from there, she doesn’t have anything to do and gets bored. You see, she’s new in town. She doesn’t like it much to stay at home, and she prefers to be outside. So, she sometimes goes to the cinema, by herself, or with company.
Matina is one of those people who don’t make many plans, not even for the movies she watches. Therefore, she usually doesn’t know what’s on at the cinema before she goes and chooses the movie only when she arrives there. So, neither tonight does she know what movies are on at the cinema. She says that it’s better this way, that it’s more interesting.
Matina walks into the cinema at 8, looks around, and sees a lot of people. A board reads which movies are on today. She stands in the queue, and when her turn comes, she buys popcorn and a soft drink. While she’s waiting, she’s thinking about which movie she prefers for tonight. She looks at the board again, which reads in a large font: ‘DOLITTLE’.
